Duisburg Zoo opens new enclosure on the Kaiserberg
Duisburg Zoo is expanding its grounds on the Kaiserberg with a naturalistic enclosure, continuing its transformation into a modern conservation zoo.
Duisburg Zoo, known for its dolphinarium and koalas, opens a new naturalistic enclosure on the Kaiserberg in summer 2026. Visitors can experience the animals up close along recreated habitats. The zoo is one of the most visited leisure attractions on the Lower Rhine and is increasingly focused on conservation, education and barrier-free paths. The opening features a family program with guided tours and hands-on activities.
