Stadtwerke Tower
The Stadtwerke Tower in Hochfeld is, at around 200 metres, the tallest structure in Duisburg and visible from far away as a landmark. Affectionately known by locals as the "Lange Heinrich" (Long Henry), the chimney belongs to the municipal utility's power station and shapes the silhouette of the city on the Rhine. Especially at sunset and floodlit at night, the tower is a striking photo motif. It stands as a symbol of Duisburg's industrial history and can be seen from many points in the city.
