Duisburg Rhine Park

Duisburg Rhine Park was created on the site of the former Krupp steelworks in Hochfeld and brought the district back to the Rhine. On wide meadows, paths and play areas right by the river, it is wonderful for walking, jogging and relaxing. The new Rhine promenade opens up views of the water and the shipping traffic. With a neighbourhood park, activity areas and renaturation, the Rhine Park is a flagship project for green structural change and an important recreation area in southern Duisburg.
