Three-Gable House
The Three-Gable House is the oldest surviving townhouse in Duisburg's old town, dating from the 16th century. It owes its name to the three characteristic stepped gables that make the building unmistakable. The lovingly restored timber-framed and stone house survived the destruction of the Second World War as one of the few historic buildings and today houses a restaurant. It is a rare testament to bourgeois architecture in old Duisburg.
