Lehmbruck Museum
The Lehmbruck Museum in the Kant-Park is one of Europe's most renowned sculpture museums. It is dedicated to the work of the Duisburg-born sculptor Wilhelm Lehmbruck and displays international sculpture of classical modernism and the present, including works by Rodin, Giacometti, Picasso and Beuys. The light-filled museum building by Manfred Lehmbruck, the artist's son, is itself regarded as a milestone of post-war architecture. In the surrounding park, numerous large-scale sculptures are freely accessible.
